What the park says
Mostly a ridge walk, and mostly on soft ground that's pleasant underfoot, except from Elshani up to Bugarska Chuka, where it's hard and stony. Apart from short stretches above Elshani there's no vegetation along the path. For most of the way the trail is clear and, in good visibility, easy to follow. It passes many historic sites, mostly from the First World War. The park calls it one of the most attractive trails in Macedonia, for the sense of space and the views.
