T-3 Velestovo to the MTB-3 junction
T-3 is one of Galičica National Park's harder and longer hiking trails, with more climbing. It runs 4.0 km from Velestovo to the MTB-3 junction, climbing about 482 m and descending 81 m in the direction drawn, between 1,072 m and 1,555 m. In Macedonian: Велестово.

What we found on the ground
Walked on 8 October 2026 from Velestovo past Gorni Studenec spring to about 1,420 m. Our GPS track sits a median 2 m from this line. The spring is a pipe and a trough. Below it the path is stony; above it the marked path climbs through leafy beech forest on soft ground, steep in spots, and is much nicer walking.
About this line
The line is from the park's own trail map as archived in October 2020. It was drawn by hand on a map, not recorded on the ground, so expect it to be off by 20 to 50 m in places. Most of the park's trails are marked on the ground with paint blazes and numbered guideposts, but markings fade and paths get overgrown. Carry an offline map and turn back if the path disappears.
